Since DCS primarily relies on a single thread for most of the heavy computational lifting, we are pleased to share good progress on the implementation of multithreading to the core engine. This development significantly alters the DCS architecture and will offer performance gains especially for highly complex missions.

Thousands of man hours have gone into this dramatic improvement of our Ka-50 attack helicopter and expanded its gameplay. Black Shark 3 leverages new DCS core technologies to match the quality of our current aircraft.

We are delighted to announce that Ugra Media’s next map will be DCS: Normandy 2. Using the skills developed whilst creating the outstanding DCS: Syria map, the new Normandy 2 map will use the latest DCS mapping technologies to create an epic World War II battlefield.

Our third party partner OneReTech is making great progress on the DCS: Sinai map. They are using equations to generate surface textures and improving the quality of ground objects with remarkable results.
